Today was a nice, easy Sunday. Around here was stake conference, and a huge stake, so far away. We opted to watch some more general conference instead. We put the Salatino’s on the plane this morning, and drowned our sorrows by meeting other friends for a museum day. I must say I really hate parking in this city. Today the 5 of us girls metroed in to the city. It’s more expensive to do, but so much more convenient. The walk through Greenbelt National Park was so pretty and relaxing. On the list for today was the holocaust museum. As expected, it was very sobering. Aunica and Erika teamed up to give us a fantastic family home evening lesson on hymns, and we called it a night. Tomorrow we put the Salatino’s on a plane bound for Oregon.
No church today, as it is general conference this weekend. We slept in, I made some yummy breakfast, we listened to some conference, and headed into the city. We started out at the national archives and were able to see the constitution, the bill of rights, and the Declaration of Independence.
