This is a place I have been looking forward to the whole trip. Circus World, Wisconsin! I scored a family pass yesterday to 12 Wisconsin historical sites for the price of one day admission to old world Wisconsin, and circus world is on the list. 

It wasn’t exactly the experience I expected. This is the historic winter site of Ringling brothers circus. I expected flashier, more modern. But we all loved it. The museum was really interesting, and there was a huge building full of old circus cars. The best part was the shows though, going on pretty much all day. We arrived just after lunch and caught the clown show, tiger show, elephant show, and the big top performance. The kids laughed and were super engaged. It was really a family affair, with couples, sisters, families with children. It was a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. And I love a circus. 😉
