Welcome to the Windy City! It was living up to its name today. Another inclement weather day, but I was a little more prepared this time. 

We spent the majority of the day at the museum of science and industry. No shortage of things to see and do here. The patterns in nature and mirror maze exhibits were a bit hit. The boys loved the model train running through the Chicago downtown. My favorite exhibit was the YOU! The experience area. The kids were enthralled with the fetuses, but they just made me sad. Especially the 37 week one. There were brain tricks and plasticized body parts. 

   
    
    
    
 
Another pizza tasting dinner (this one with an hour and a half wait), and we headed down to navy pier. We were going to ride the Ferris wheel, but the kids became enthralled with the fountain (and very wet).

  
We ended the night on the pier watching fireworks, one of my personal favorite things to do.
