So, we are staying at Floyd Bennett field, and found out yesterday that there is an amusement center on site. Sidda had been begging for *months* to go ice skating, so this seemed like a good time.

We headed up around lunch time, with a packed lunch, planning to skate for a session (back home that would be 1 to 1 1/2 hours). Turns out when you pay to skate here, it is for all day. So my plan to skate and head into NYC was derailed. Instead the kids skated for 4 hours straight. Well, the 2 littles ran around, and Finn took a nap (I was a little worried remembering his subway licking yesterday).  I noticed a marked improvement in all my kids skills and smiles! 

When they closed, Deon met up with us and took the girls into the city. Unfortunately, they missed the last entry time for the WTC/9-11 museum. But they walked the site and ended up watching the movie boss baby. The boys and I holed up in the rv eating leftover spaghetti.
