Valentines travel day
Today was mainly a travel day.
First Deon dropped the kids and I off downtown Tallahassee, FL. He was taking the trailer to be looked at for some alignment issues, and I found an ASTC reciprocal museum.
Except it wasn’t really a museum. It was a movie theater/planetarium. The Challenger Learning Center was not what we expected, but it was perfect for the hour or so we had to kill. We watched a planetarium show geared to introduce young children to our solar system. It was entertaining and we were the only ones in there, which is always helpful for me with my littles.
Then we made the drive to Orlando. We were serendipitously able to meet up with a mobile rv weigher in a Walmart parking lot along the way. With our recent upgrade we wanted to see where we stood. We weighed in at 8550, well below what our van can pull and well below what our new axles can handle. That was a relief, and a justification on our recent upgrade. I bought valentines cupcakes in Walmart, which was the extent of our valentines celebration.
We were elated to find, upon checkin, there was a spot directly next to our good friends! Score! And settled in to our new home for a while.
