I have *always* wanted to visit Carlsbad caverns, and today was the day!

First the kids and I did a guided walk while Deon worked. It was a great tour, and happened to be given by a woman Deon went to high school with! Crazy small world! Then the kids did their junior ranger books, and that same ranger swore them in.

Eventually, Deon finished working for the day and joined us underground for a walk in the biggest cave in the Western Hemisphere.
