I am so excited to say we were able to spend the day at the zoo again today! Our new friends were kind enough to get us in again, giving Deon and Aunica a chance to experience it!

We did most of the same things again. Everyone except baby K and I rode the skyfari, we walked though the butterflies and the aquarium. We were given tickets to 2 more IMAX films, but Aunica, Kieran and I skipped one (in favor of ice cream and pie…shhh…don’t tell). We saw the big cats, the Bears, the night exhibit, the desert, and the rainforest. 

BEST thing was our new friends came to join us at the zoo! Rachael and her 4 youngest joined us, as well as her mom, janea. The kids played and we ladies talked and talked. I felt like I had met a kindred soul. They own an rv and hope to travel more like we are. They are lds and homeschoolers. 

It was really an amazing day, with good reviews all around.

   
    
    
 
After the zoo we headed to the Winter Quarters church site. There were some very sweet sister missionaries, and some fun, interactive activities, but it’s hard for anything to hold a candle to Nauvoo. But a good family home evening nonetheless.
