Yellowstone NP, America’s first national park. World renown for its active geology, particularly Old Faithful, a geyser with impeccable timing.

Today we hit Old Faithful and Grand Prismatic spring. Some of us also really enjoy the visitor’s centers. Some do not. Some of us just enjoy the view, while to others the view is worthless without the information to understand what you are looking at. It’s all a balance, and about learning how to respect our differences and have everyone get what they need out of our experiences.

   
   
We spent the night in our church parking lot in west Yellowstone, ID. I have decided that is the simplest way to ensure we make it to church on time. 

Now, west Yellowstone is small. Small enough that while we did laundry at the only laundromat/gas station in town, and I realized we needed groceries 10 minutes before the (only) grocery store closed, I ran. And made it. Closing in 3 minutes, I heard. 7 minutes later I was out the door, supplies for the next day in hand. 😉
